The endless recycling of Kingsway's instrumental back catalogue goes on. This three album set is divided into piano, harp and strings, and as usual with these albums, there's no performer credits in the sleevenotes. I wouldn't mind so much if this was new material, but there's nothing here written later than 1992; eight tunes out of 37 are by Graham Kendrick, and the rest of it is stuff from Hosanna!, People Of Destiny and Vineyard, along with various old hymns. Technically, the performances are good, but as an aid to worship, I'd rather have the vocals any day. On the other hand, as an aid to restful slumber, this would work quite well. Please, Kingsway, let's have some fresh sounds; these are way past their sell-by date.
