Remarkably relaxing and peaceful, this recommendable box meets the human need for edifying environment sounds that slows one down from the scramble of the modern day rat race and restores the spirit. This, like the others from the label, is proficiently simple. Unlike costly, overproduced, often overwhelming, American instrumental projects, such UK productions under the auspices of Kingsway have a good-natured disposition well fitted to the British temperament. 'Classical Gold Volume 4' is a trilogy of CDs to be released by Kingsway in the Classical Gold series. Setting out into quiet worship, it focuses on different aspects of God s character, each CD is a compilation of various hymns and choruses, new and old. Performed by uncredited orchestras, they cover such songs as "Purify My Heart", "O Breath Of Life", "Jesus Put This Song In My Heart", "We Declare Your Majesty" and "There Is A Redeemer". The repertoire spans many decades and songwriters such as Graham Kendrick, Isaac Watts and Noel Richards. This is a very moving and gentle recording of 36 melodies, using the highest calibre of musicianship and carefully arranged pieces of music. This album is perfect too for any contemporary music fan who enjoys the creme-de-la-creme of quality instrumental recordings.
