Here's the deal. A few years ago Dutch muso Lothar Kosse came up with the idea of having a regular worship bash at a club in downtown Cologne. It's now firmly established to bring in some international names in worship ministry and so this album features three ministries, the Lothar Kosse Band, whose strengths are excellent, heavyish guitar work from the main man but whose vocals are flat and colourless; Canada's Norm Straus is an anointed songwriter and worship leader - grab the blues shuffle "Even The Hardest Heart" and the funky "I Am A Temple"; and Britain's very own Noel Richards, who does tight and rocking versions of five of his classics closing with (what else?) "Champion Of The World". Gritty pop rock worship from an event obviously crucial in bringing a song of salvation to Cologne clubland.
