Very much a concept album based on the first few chapters of Genesis, conceived in the main by veteran CCM producer Don Koch. It's an ambitious project and apparently there are to be a whole stream of follow up albums ('Creation Kids', 'Creation Worship', 'Creation Country', 'Creation Gospel' and even 'Creation Xtreme'). So what do we get on the initial 2004 project? Well, Mr Koch has brought together a bevy of excellent CCM vocalists including Cindy Morgan, Lisa Bevill, Bob Carlisle, Larnelle Harris, Billy Sprague and Allen Asbury. Secondly the songs, though leaning rather towards the inspirational ballad end of things, are pretty strong and in one case, Sprague's moving "Back To The Beginning", outstanding. If you have an inkling that our world is more than an accidental collision of atoms and fancy the idea of session-seasoned Nashville talents singing about an amazing God who speaks and matter forms, check out this project.
