This compilation aims to represent a new generation of Hosanna! Music, bringing listeners into a place of deeper worship with God. Most of the contributors are well known, such as Paul Baloche, Don Moen and Brian Doerksen, with some not so well known like Kari Jobe. As one would expect the production quality is high with some very nice arrangements, particularly the choral introduction to Brian Doerksen's "Holy God". However, other tracks sometimes become over produced and some of the arrangements and songs are a bit bland with a real feeling of "heard it before". At least some of the material here will be known to many church goers, with the opening Baloche/Brenton Brown "Hosanna (Praise Is Rising)" and the Baloche/Kendrick penned "What Can I Do" being staples at most worship events in the last few years. All in all, a so-so compilation from the Integrity corporation.
