The A&R staff at Gotee must be a talented bunch, because this is a wildly impressive sampler. It rocks into action with new voice Stephanie Smith and very impressive she is too. Jennifer Knapp proves yet again that she is a superior rock artist much missed from today's scene while Out Of Eden wow with their hip-hop tinged R&B gospel. Ayiesha Woods combines rock, hip-hop and soul and a touch of Caribbean colour in her music and talented singer/songwriter Sarah Kelly completes the lineup with powerful vocals that could blast the paint off the walls. If I have to be picky, I wonder about using the word "ladies". It implies a social conservatism (which doesn't surprise me in American CCM). But these artists shouldn't be making the sarnies to support their men. There are prophets and evangelists in this bunch. Just beware - this compilation may tempt you to spend more money.

Hi David,
From an old codger in his mid 30s.
'Ladies' has now done a full circle and is 'hip with the
kids' as they say (or used to say), although it's often
spelt 'ladeez' to show its modern usage!
Regards,
Allan Clare.
