Reviewed by Tom Lennie This is a compilation of songs focusing on, as the title suggests, the theme of healing and restoration. It's a generous offering content-wise, running at over seventy minutes and containing 15 tracks, all of which are picked from existing Integrity albums, and all save one of which dates to within the last 10 years. These songs make fairly easy listening, all falling within the soft pop/MOR category. This said, there exists a fair diversity, with worship leaders as varied - and well known - as Paul Baloche, Don Moen, Brian Doerksen and Hillsong (five songs stem from that Australian camp). Intriguing within this set-up is the arresting vocals of Texas worship leader Kari Jones, and elsewhere, the faint bluegrass hues on "The Faithful Love Of Jesus" rendered by the country tones of Ricky Skaggs. All tracks bar none are genuinely pleasant; among the other standouts being a couple of tracks taken from the 2006 'Word Of God Speak' releases produced by Nathan Nockels - viz Angela Cruz's take on Baloche's "All His Benefits", and the ensuing "Be Still And Know" delicately delivered by Nathan's wife Christy. The other track from this Scripture-based series is also a good'un but is not sung by Ms Nockels as stated (it's a guy!). Pleasant songs, full of inspirational lyrics prescribing Christ's healing, restorative love and power.
