A concept album comprising of 12 inspirational songs picked from existing recordings. All songs are loosely based around the theme of that ethereal "location" known to believers as heaven. I say loosely because several of the tracks, if taken on their own, don't at all directly suggest the notion of life after death, but rather to experiences in the here and now. Brian Doerksen's "Your Faithfulness" and Christy Nockels' "Be Still And Know" - two beautiful songs - are cases in point. That aside, there are some gorgeous songs on offer here. The captivating vocals on "This Is Your Land", written by Phil Baggaley and co, sound remarkably like those of Mal Pope, but are credited rather to a Gene Miller. Don Moen takes the lead on one of his own tunes and one of another's - and Kathryn Scott does likewise on two more. Elsewhere Paul and Rita Baloche's voices blend harmoniously on "No Eye Has Seen". Though far from being a ground-breaking recording, there are some fine songs here with "heavenly" vocals with the overall effect of soothing the soul and encouraging the spirit.

Product Description
Heaven... a place thought about during good times and bad. During good times Christians think about how great their time with their Heavenly Father will be in heaven one day. In bad times of sickness or death believers look to heaven as a place of peace and serenity where God will deliver them from periods of pain and suffering.
No matter the situation, heaven will one day be a place that Christians can call home. Heaven – Songs Of The Great Homecoming is a great collection of songs dealing with heaven and life after death and the peace and celebration that will be experienced there.
