Some big worship ministry names and contrasting styles meet on this album of seasonal worship. The opening number "Come And Worship" is a fantastic joyous anthem, sung by Michael Neale, and it suitably sets the tone for a remarkable collection. Paul Baloche heads up the next number, "God Is With Us", guitar driven but with some rather nice brass arrangements. The whole album is infused with choral backing from the Christ Fellowship Choir, generally gospel in style, which helps to reinforce the celebratory feel. There are some clearly gospel numbers too, such as Harold Ross' arrangement of "For Unto Us A Child Is Born" and more variety is found with the soul style "Rejoice". Renowned producer Don Moen's input has given this album a nice sparkle and should ensure that it remains listenable for many festive seasons to come.
