The Malachi Records artists hail from Nigeria, though some now live State-side. They bring a unique album with as many flavas as you could want within an urban album. We move from reggaeton and dancehall, such as the smooth Sean John styled "Away My Tears" with A-zAy, Otis and Victor. "So In Love", "Holy Ghost Party" and "Bounce, Move, Shake" continue this dancehall vibe. We have tracks demonstrating the R&B talents of Annette on "That Girl" with UtchiWali bringing her Eve-styled rap talents. UtchiWali brings more rap heat on "Da Cause" which brings a more crunk feel. In "Praise Him" we continue this crunk vibe as A-zAy drops lines that praise Jesus no matter what is happening in life. Kalil brings his undoubted soulful Marvin Gaye-styled voice to many tracks including the soulful "Change" and "Good2Me". A-zAy drops a poetic track with "The Cause" laying down his all for the Cause of Christ, and "Dreams", allowing "God's fingers to strike the chords of his imagination." Most tracks cross over styles and genres (eg "Livin4" and "Prayer 4 Me"), a standout feature from this multi-talented crew. A really standout track is "Mama" - a moving tribute to their mamas. Overall a tight and well produced project.
