Reviewed by Steven Bridge I like various artists albums. Despite the misnomer in the title, there are some songs which have groups singing with collaborating solo artists - you get the idea that someone, somewhere in the record industry has had a brainwave to put together the tracks where different Christian recording artists have combined with others for a song or two. Or in this case, they've found 15 spanning the last dozen years! I for one am not going to knock it! 70 minutes of quality music featuring all your favourites : Rebecca St James, Sonicflood, dc Talk, Delirious?, Steven Curtis Chapman, Michael W Smith, Audio Adrenaline, Matt Redman, etc, etc. Need I go on? Yes and no. Yes, I liked the music. No, I did not like or understand the sleeve cover showing a picture of two apples. I thought pears would be more appropriate (subtle joke there!). I also thought the words of all the songs could have been printed, rather than just those of two new recordings. But, hey, in this spirit of co-operation, let's not fall out with the recording company who have produced a fine album! As I said, I like compilations, and this one has the unusual variety of interesting pairings: Mix and match ups!
