The concept belongs to Steve Legg who in announcing the birth of a child realised that there was something in the sending out of the birth announcement. 'It's A Boy' tells the Christmas story through narration and songs and is designed to be used as a resource by local churches or schools to tell the truth of the Christmas story. With musical contributions from Jim Bailey, Simon Goodall, Big Ben, Tony T and Cathy Burton, the songs are varied, moving from the lullaby sounds of the title cut complete with kids' choir to the dance pop groove of "Saviour Of The World". With narration from TV actor Russell Boulter and a witty script penned by Steve Legg, the overall effect is very strong. Full of new songs, it's an excellent resource, a strong presentation of the Christmas story and it's worth getting hold of a pack complete with backing tracks and music if you've
been looking for a dramatic presentation to do at Christmastime.
