An interesting offering from the company responsible for the fine Unity Klan, including a pile of artists who in the coming months will have their own albums out there such as Big J, Jah Word and Souljahz. This album shows a definite move to unite the dance, hip hop and soul styles and to bring an accessibility to Christian music for the outside world. If you like Coolio and Luniz, you’ll love this album: on the up side this compilation has a plethora of catchy hooks and poignant lyrics, but on the down side the content of this album is directed at an American audience rather than its European counterpart. The only thing that puts me off this CD is the rather sickly altar call at the end of the album. Nevertheless, this album is a cracking good soundtrack when you’re in the car and presents a fresh look at evangelistic music. When are we going to see more British music like this?
