Reviewed by Howard Williams It appears that compilation albums are all the rage at the moment. Following other labels' lead, Alliance has repackaged 16 tracks from the three popular 'Jumping In The House Of God" albums. All the usual participants are represented: The World Wide Message Tribe, Matt Redman, Delirious? Storm, Shine. The tracks are as good as they always were, "were" being very operative as They are exactly the same as when previously released. Half of the compilation is made up of tracks from 'Jumping 3', so if you already have that album there is, in my opinion, little point in getting this product, as the tracks from the first two albums sound their age. Even for someone new to the Christian dance scene, I would probably still recommend buying 'Jumping 3' rather than this. Compared to the quality of presentation of the Jumping trilogy this product has an extremely cheap appearance, with all the class of a melted packet of jelly beans. One wonders if that was indeed the inspiration for the artwork. The only saving grace for me was that the selected tracks contain all my favourites, however, with not even a single new remix, I'm left feeling that they should have concentrated efforts on 'Jumping 4' instead.
