Billed as "Firing up your audio senses with seven explosive worship tunes", this sampler aims to give a feel of the artists currently recording for Rocketown records, the Nashville record company owned by Michael W Smith. The styles range from the rocky pop of Taylor Sorensen through to the sparse beauty of Ginny Owens and not forgetting Michael W Smith himself. Although the music here is excellent, as an album it suffers the usual problem of samplers in that there is no coherency and as there is only one song from each artist there is not enough to appeal to those wanting to find out what Rocketown is about. But at this price, it's still recommended!
