A sequence recorded at Rocketown, Nashville, of black artists and groups. The better known names, in addition to compere Smokie Norful, are Blind Boys Of Alabama and The Mighty Clouds Of Joy. These are polished performances, the most stunning of which are the group and choir harmonies. The songs chosen are unfamiliar to a lot of people, adding to the freshness and appeal of the sequence. The DVD also contains bonus material from some of the artists.
