'Love Songs: The Ultimate Collection' is an album of subtle praise and worship of God. This two-disc set contains 25 tracks of mostly contemporary Christian songwriters singing about divine love. The tone of the compilation is perfect all the way through and you are drawn into listening from the start. It is a gentle, seductive album that washes over you, calming and relaxing you into a state of romance. 'Love Songs' is an album you could play without being overly aware the majority of songs talk of a Christian's love for Jesus and Jesus' love and sacrifice for his people. There are many exceptional tracks, including Stacie Orrico's "Without Love", Steven Curtis Chapman's "We Will Dance" and "In Remembrance Of Me" sung by Cheri Keaggy (the gifted singer who seems to have disappeared). This collection of modern love songs would make a perfect gift for a loved one, or simply to listen, and relax to, on your own.
