This traditional collection of hymns, the fourth in the series produced by Mission
Worship, isn't worship which is likely to be enjoyed by the new generation of church goers regularly imbibing Redman, Hughes, Hillsong et all. But of course there are a lot of people in traditional churches who still go dewey eyed over the glories of hymnody and for some Church Of England or Salvation Army congregations this might be the perfect tool to resource and inspire their worship. There's nothing original to write about, there are no song leaders, musicians or producers to tell you about but there is a Songs Of Praise feel about it. It was recorded in a large congregation and led by congregation themselves. Some of these hymns are timeless but deserve far better renditions than the ones offered here.
