Regurgitating songs from Jesus Christ Superstar, Godspell and Joseph And His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat for the Christian bookshop market does seem decidedly questionable when one thinks of the major theological deficiencies of the Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice and Stephen Schwartz material. Yep, I know "Day By Day " is catchy (remember when dc Talk covered it?) and "I Don't Know How To Love Him" is an easy listening classic. But these renditions by The West End Theatre Orchestra And Chorus aren't even the original cast ones.
