Those who still cling to the odd idea that if it's Tennessee or California from whence flows all the classy pop/MOR praise and worship are going to be stunned by this private release. Yep. we know Hawaii has given us Tom Brock's Wave Of Life but now it seems the land of sun and surf has another thriving Christian ministry. On The Rock Ministries International. This engaging album featuring lead vocals from Liann Colazzo, Rodney Iaea, and Reggie Smith, and the pretty memorable songs of multi-instrumentalist Tim Strickland doesn't break new musical ground, but the album still greatly impresses. Some lilting ballads, a touch of rock and even a pinch of reggae, lightly produced and with lyrics which stick to Scripture. Recommended.
