The Osmotic series of albums from Netherlands' Low Roof Records have been real groundbreakers. This, the last in the series, is bound to be a favourite with DJs and dance fans alike. Artists from around the globe have produced a brilliant world-class album and although you may have heard of one or two of the artists/producers here (The Psalmist from England, for example), the bulk remain obscure. Having said that, Michael Faralley, Out Of The World, Henk X and Triple-D from the Netherlands; The Marksman from South Africa; Deep Effect from Sweden; and Drew Lyddon from England all contribute impressive tracks. I believe this could truly set the bench mark for the standard of Christian dance music so many of us have longed for. There are soft mellow tunes and anthems with strong rhythms and basslines to get you in the mood for a party or a night out. One track even reminded me of a DJ I sometimes hear on the radio. Yes! It's that good! There are a few sampled lyrics of a sermon, a voice that has been skilfully pitch changed and another track has a robot voice. The album is essentially instrumental, so there are very few words of enlightenment. There is a very positive and creative feel to the music and an air of joy and excitement. The chill out trance tunes have some excellent melodies. There are three MP3 files on this CD. These are of a slightly different flavour to the rest of the music on the CD.
