This is by some way the worst album I've had to review this year ; 34 tracks of soulless, passionless drivel masquerading as inspirational music. Should you ever want to buy this, what you'll get are previously released classical arrangements of hymns and worship songs, some of which are medley-based with chunks of Bach and Tchaikovsky, and pseudo-religious stuff such as 'I Believe' , 'You Light Up My Life', 'Lean On Me' and 'Bridge Over Troubled Water', which is unforgivably credited to 'Writer Unknown'. Paul Simon's lawyers should get on the case pronto, as should Noel Paul Stookey's. because his 'Wedding Song (There is Love)' is similarly described. The perpetrators of this cheese-fest, mainly Ralph Carmichael, Linda McKechnie (aka Linda McKennie) and Don Marsh (aka Don March - the sleeve typography is atrocious), should be indicted for crimes against music, the record company executives responsible for allowing this to escape should be ashamed of themselves, and both of these CDs would make excellent coffee-mats.
