This compilation brings together 10 R&B-tinged hip-hop tracks under the slogan "My music, My life, My style". Each cut features a different lead vocalist from the sweet soulful vocals of Lisa McClendon to the harder edged rhymes of Zondaflex who features on the infectious "Beyond". The chord that binds the release together is a strong lyrical focus on giving praise to Jesus, thanking him for what he's done and who he is. Whilst the lyrics are clearly scriptural, they lack real edge or imagination and are instantly forgettable. Where this album also falls short is in the more familiar songs such as a sickly sweet rendition of "Here I Am To Worship (featuring Nirva Dorsaint)" and an upbeat version of the Redman classic "Heart Of Worship" courtesy of Shanea Askew. Whilst there can be no faulting the production quality or musicianship on this release, there is unfortunately precious little here to grab the listener's attention.
