With a title like 'Reggae Sunday Service', I would expect arrangements of hymns and worship songs that are well known and able to be sung along to, and this is more or less what we get. However, there are tracks that don't fit the format, in particular the two by Marvia Providence; "Hear My Cry O Lord" is six minutes of gospel church, and "It's Raining" is two minutes and 46 seconds of call and response, neither are what I would class as reggae. Of the other featured artists, Carlene Davis and Osmond Collins are familiar names, even to an old honkie like me, and George Nooks, Denzil Dennis and Donna Marie also do a good job. Playing time is a tad stingy for 12 tracks, under 48 minutes, and it's a pity about the two sore thumbs by Marvia, but apart from that caveat, this isn't a bad collection if you want to hear some reasonable gospel reggae music.
