This follows a now ever-growing list of concept albums in the Christian marketplace. This one is a tribute to author Bob Briner, author of Roaring Lambs, and is stuffed full of the top names in CCM, each singing tracks inspired by the author and his writings. Artists include Jars Of Clay (with Innocence Mission), Sixpence None The Richer, Michael W Smilh, Steven Curtis Chapman, Delirious?, Burlap To Cashmere and Ladysmith Black Mambazo each giving their tribute with totally new material, and to be honest there is not a bad track here, ensuring many hours of great music emerging from your speakers! The best track to my ears is delivered by Ashley Cleveland and Michael Tait (dc Talk) highlighting the author's admonition to be salt and light to the world. Ashley's singing is full of passion and energy delivering a storming performance (as always!) and ensuring the message gets home.
