'Rock The Sampler' features a compilation of songs from a line-up of bands that feature in 'Rock. The Series'. It provides the listener with a broad range of US rock styles and with a good taste of what to expect from the other albums in the series. Bands that appear on the album include Jeremy Camp, Kutless, Audio Adrenaline, Telecast, Relient K as well as many more. Two bonus tracks are also included; 'This could be' by Mainstay and 'Caroline' by Seventh Day Slumber. 'Rock: The Sampler' is a well put together compilation and has a good balance of heavier and lighter rock. Audio Adrenaline's upbeat "Dirty" kicks off the album well and other catchy favourites include "Landslide" by Seven Places and "Pressing On" by Relient K. A useful compilation if you need to catch up on the current state of US Christian rock.
