Won't last a yeee-haaaa. Budget production, budget vocals, budget lyrics. Syntax, licks and fidelity all a bit suspect. The only redeeming feature is some very good if stereotyped guitar and pedal steel playing. Excellent telecaster, twin reverb authenticity. It's the kind of stuff you don't hear in Nashville, but with titles which plead for Tennessee air time - "I'll Fly Away", "One More Valley", "Tears Of The Lonely" - I'm sure you get the picture. Very little on the sleeve except "Simply Country, featuring Rev William McCrea, Mary McKee, High Country, Len Magee, Garth Hewitt." But with quasi country gospel as cheesy as this even the most detailed of sleeve credits couldn't have saved it.
