Underneath a psychedelic cover lies a veritable who's who of new CCM. Representing the developing alternative and sanctified dance scenes, this CD comes under the subtitle 'The Best New Bands On The Planet?'. This may be debatable but there are some good artists represented. First up is the alterna-pop of Considering Lily and this is followed by the UK's only contribution - a new mix of WWMT's "Real Thing". Also represented are Grammatrain, Switchfoot, Raze, Caedmon's Call, The Waiting, Smalltown Poets, Reality Check, The OC Supertones, Bleach and Skillet. The "Journey Mix" of "Real Thing" will make this an essential purchase of for any WWMT completists. A few of the songs are a little too generic for my tastes but there are some good cuts as well. At £1.50 and containing 18 tracks, this disc certainly represents superb value and if you're interested in the upsurge of Christian alternative music then it's an essential purchase.
