Reviewed by Steve Best A collection of songs recorded at the World Prayer Centre in Colorado Springs, USA just two weeks after the 9/11 disaster, performed by the worship leaders who wrote the 12 songs on offer here. Some are well known to UK CD purchasers (Don Moen, Brian Doerksen, Paul Baloche), others have yet to register here (Lamont Herbert, Steve Merkel, Jami Smith). The songs are consummately played, arranged and performed, as one would expect, but at the end of it all, I was left feeling strangely untouched by this. Maybe the sound seems so clean and sanitised that the heart has been drawn out of the project, but it all appears to be - well, too perfunctory. Just another of many worship albums, which after a time, all blend into one. When one considers the enormity of the event this recording commemorates, that's a great shame.
