This album comes at the height of the reggae gospel music explosion. On this one-of-a-kind album, some of Christian reggae's top generals, lieutenants and sergeants take time out to give praises to God. This double CD set is the brainchild of Judy Mowatt, who saw the need to unite the Christian reggae artists who were once singing secular reggae, but are now called out for service. Some of the soldiers featured are Papa San, Stitchie, Carlene Davis and Chevell Franklin - just to mention a few. The whole spectrum of reggae is covered on this double album, from lover's rock to ragga. There are traditional and contemporary songs to suit all tastes. The exceptional production of this album sets new high standards. I recommend you add it to your collection.
