Another 20 track compilation to go with the best selling Songs Of Fellowship Songbook. Original Kingsway artists featured include Stuart Townend, Noel Richards and Dave Bilborough, mixed in amongst live songs (including Stoneleigh), Taize chants and a couple of congregation style hymns. There are plenty of excellent songs here though my favourite has to be Stuart Townend's "We Have Sung Our Songs Of Victory". More retrospective than revolutionary, but more complimentary than that.

Also reviewed in issue 52:
Subtitled '10 Songs From England, Brownsville, Toronto And The World', this is a selection of some of the best live worship put out over the last few years by Vineyard. Thus we get tracks recorded at Winds of Worship Conferences in Brighton, Arnhem (Holland), Toronto, Brownsville and New England, with worship led by Andy Park, Brian Doerksen, Danny Daniels, Lindell Cooley and David Ruis. The value for money factor is high ( the 10 tracks check out at a total of over 68 minutes), the worship leaders are definitely the bees' knees, and the only quibble I have is the title - 'Revival' has only happened as far as I know in Brownsville and Toronto. Still, despite that, and the age of most of the songs ( nothing written later than 1995), these are classics - great to hear Brian D's magnum opus 'More' sung properly - am I the only one who doesn't like the Spring Harvest Praise Mix version? A good place to start if you've never ever heard live worship as it should be done.
