A compilation of tracks by European hard music bands that all have one thing in common; their music is inspired by and dedicated to God. Whilst here in the UK we can, once we get the knack of looking in the right places, hear about and listen to a good number of British and North American bands we know little or nothing of the burgeoning European scene. The label which produced this CD is owned by the guitarist of Opposition Of One, who recently headlined the second day of Destruction Fest and who provide one of the standout tracks on the CD. Other highlights come from The Locals, The Flying Windmill, Stuck In Childhood and Pistis IHA, who are all German bands. However other countries represented are Sweden, Norway, Finland, France and Belgium. Whilst a number of these bands have performed at such established Christian alternative music festivals as Bobfest and Freakstock, there are few Brits who'd recognise a single band name. Hopefully with UK distribution and some more media exposure (at least two tracks will have been played on the Rock And Hard Place by the time of print) some of these talented European bands will gain a little recognition outside of their national borders.
