A craftily compiled alternative rock album from one of THE labels heading up American Christendom's wholesale entrance into the wunnerful world of alternative rock. What we have here are cuts from some serious albums from the Kosmos Express' 'Now' to the new-on-the-scene retro rockabilly of Ruby Joe's 'Sinking The Eight Ball' interspersed with exclusive-to-this-album cuts from the likes of Honey and Silage. My current favourite is the riotous anarchic ska gone crazy "My Car Makes Me Sin" by Silage and the grow-on-you cut "The Pretender" by Quale but if you can't get enough of the alternative stuff this compilation might well be for you.
