A 2CD compilation highlighting the 10 years of existence of Survivor Records and certainly this demonstrates just how pioneering the Kingsway subsidiary has been in developing a more contemporary edge to worship music. All their big names are here of course (Matt Redman, Tim Hughes, Onehundredhours, Paul Oakley Tree63 and the Soul Survivor live recordings) while there are also some gems which will be less familiar (Beth Redman's haunting "Deeper Than I've Ever Known" from the 'Soul Sista' mini-album or Matt Redman's exciting version of "Dancing Generation" recorded at Newday). 33 tracks for £10 and most of them top rate. One of the best worship compilations you'll hear this or any year and a fitting tribute to a groundbreaking record label/worship movement.
