This budget priced sampler gives a reasonable indication that before Authentic Media was enveloped in the CLC financial crisis, the label was beginning to build an impressive roster of UK artists. Some are given two tracks here with the haunting ethereal vibe of Portland, the sassy careering drive of The Gentleman and the punchy pop rock praise of Phatfish all making an appealing sound. One or two of the worship tracks are less impressive, but on the whole, this is a sampler which six months after release leaves one hoping that, now that Authentic have been bought by Kingsway Music, the label won't abandon it's commitment to non worship acts. For the British scene needs the Portland's and the Esther Alexanders alongside all those worship ministries feeding songs to the saved.
