Trailered "classic songs from the original artists," this two CD compilation offers "Open The Eyes Of My Heart" by Paul Baloche (1997), "Above All" by Lenny LeBlanc (1999), "Ashes To Beauty" by Kathryn Scott (2003), "Give Thanks With A Grateful Heart" by Don Moen (1978), "Jesus Is Alive" by Ron Kenoly (1997) and a whole heap more. Styles range from the most turgid MOR to bright pop rock and even a bit of black gospel. Oh, and let's not forget the cod country of "God Is God All The Time". Some of the recordings have dated considerably but most of the songs here are quality. A useful compilation for worship nostalgists.
