‘80s-type slap bass is up, along with the drums - not too much else, apart from male lead vocal and girly bvs which are all used to perform "More Of Your Glory". You may have heard the song before on the ‘Revival At Brownsville’ CD back in 1999. The song opens Integrity's most recent CD in the series, making it the fifth Power Of Praise compilation CD. The second song's up tempo too, but that's about it; the rest of the album being a quieter affair. The opening song was written in 1996, the other nine songs range from then back to 1985. I wonder if these are a few spare tracks that Integrity had hanging around to keep the successful series running -a bit like Rocky V - not that that's always bad: "Use Me" is a classic which always stirs my soul and that's on here. No doubt that the songs pull you into the presence of the Lord; which is Integrity's ethos anyway. But they are old-ish, choir-ish and not too urban-ish, (is it okay to use ish, or is it child-ish?) and the series is supposed to be the best of urban praise. The CDs are very reasonably priced.
