The unmistakeable lead voice of Fred Hammond soars soulfully on the “We Lift Up Your Name” opener though once more such facts are kept secret on a package which assembles more black church worship from Radical For Christ’s ‘Praise In The House’, Motor City Mass Choir’s ‘Word In The House’ and ‘Shout In The House’ and Keith Staten’s ‘Worship In The House’. All in all, ‘The Power Of Praise’ series is a classic example of how NOT to reissue archive material.
