Not to be confused with another compilation with the same title, reviewed here by me nearly two years ago. This one marks the launch of Exhale, a division of Expansion Records - who, in the past few years, have released nearly all the tracks featured here as 12" singles, with some degree of mainstream success (as I write, their latest. Billy & Sarah Gaines' "I Found Someone', is getting a lot of daytime airplay on London's Top 40 commercial stations). Most gospel fans will already possess the majority of the 17 tracks in one form or the other in their collections; the ones you might have missed are Richard Rogers' 'Waiting On A Sign", Gary Taylor's "One Love. One People". 'Whatever It Takes' by (the British) Sign Of The Times, and 'My Joy (Is You)' from a new name. Wanda Xulu. Whether those tracks alone are worth shelling out for a CD with a dozen or so you already have is up to you - but as far as the music goes, this album has already proved itself several times before.
