For those who already own Survivor Songbooks 1-3 there will be no surprises to learn that this, the fourth instalment, follows the exact same format. There are over 150 new and not so new songs from a collection of well known worship leaders such as Tim Hughes, Brenton Brown, Chris Tomlin, Lex Buckley and Martyn Layzell that have been sung at recent summer festivals like New Wine and Soul Survivor or appear on said worship leaders' latest offerings. As with the previous three Survivor Songbooks, each song is laid out with lyrics being accompanied by guitar chords, capo instructions and, at times rather helpfully, chord charts. For those who play any instrument other than a guitar a CD-Rom is provided which contains sheet music and word masters for acetates or powerpoint. Alongside the songs there is an excerpt from Mike Pilavachi's excellent book Worship, Evangelism, Justice which looks at the link between what we sing/say and what we actually do with our lives.
