By the simple device of licensing a few choice cuts from other companies to top up their own worship repertoire, Authentic Music have produced a top quality worship compilation. Just look at the acts featured on this set - Hillsong United, Vineyard UK, Delirious?, Abundant Life Church, Jaci Velasquez and Hillsong and Delirious? (together). Some classic songs are here too ("Come Now Is The Time", "Here I Am To Worship", "Lord I Give You My Heart"). Most impressively, Andrew Mitchell's captivating "Calvary Song" sounds as good as any track here. Some might object to the mix of live and studio recordings on 'The Worship Album' but such is the way with worship compilations. That, and a dull sleeve design, are really the only downsides to an album which will surely take modern worship into thousands of homes.
