This budget line eight track sampler previews tracks from six different Kinsgway live worship DVDs covering a range of different styles and events from the London Community Gospel Choir's 'Live At Abbey Road' through the Mission:Worship event to Stuart Townend's 'There Is A Hope'. The menu is simple - though it did not work on my PC - offering song selection and a play all option. The video production is of a high standard on all the tracks and there is enough consistency to make watching the tracks back to back an enjoyable experience. The music is always live but with two distinct varieties of "live". There are songs from events, such as Mission:Worship, and Momentum (Grapevine 2007) and there are songs from what Radio 1 would call "in session" type settings where the band are recorded live in a studio with an audience present - in this case in Abbey Road. While this might be a touch contrived it does lead to excellent sound quality and does present the opportunity to see and hear Matt Redman singing "Blessed Be Your Name" with LGCG. With contributions from Brenton Brown, Andy Bromley, Kelly Minter, Stuart Townend, Paul Oakley, Matt Redmon, Godfrey Birtill and Lou Fellingham there is something for most tastes making this sampler worth a watch.
