Authentic Music have gone further with their bargain price sampler series with this double disc set for two quid! There is for my mind a variety of good and average stuff on these discs. The first disc is dominated by "praise and worship" while the second has a more lifestyle feel. On the plus side there are some quality acts here - thebandwithnonname, TBC, Jaci Valasquez, Nicole Mullen, Delirious?/Hillsong and others. However, thebandwithnoname track is incorrectly labelled "The Best Thing"; instead you get the new mix of "Amazing Grace" which is the weakest track on that album, also TBC's "Mystified" instead of the labelled "Do You Know". On the fist disc there are some highlights: Hillsong United's "Salvation Is Here" has something about it. However, for me most of the rest was pretty average with a particularly bad version of "Majesty Here I Am" (it just lacks passion and atmosphere) from the Heart Of Worship Vol 5 (or is that 500). On to the second disc - other than TBC and thebandwithnoname who are quality, there are some interesting new faces such as Stellar Kart with their pop punk "Student Driver" and MuteMath.
