From the freestyle pyrotechnics of Jurny Big to the closing killer “Here For Years” by Peace 586 with Propaganda and Dokument giving out with the rhymes this is more great stuff brought to us by DJ Allstar. He’s not simply spliced together hot cuts from the entire Uprok roster (they’re all here, including KJ-52, Ill Harmonics, Playdough, Deepspace5 and many more), he’s also created a lot of new beats. The deejay/producer says, “I used them to serve as glue between some of the songs that may have had a slightly different feel to one another. The scratching and flashing featured here is top rate too and with such a great choice of cuts (including the Propaganda classic “Don’t Let Us Lose It”) this is another dazzling celebration of holy hip-hop at a bargain price.
