Possibly the most popular way these days to keep up to date with what is happening in gospel music, the Wow series of albums continues unabated. This one gives you two CDs of choice cuts including stone classics like Kierra 'Kiki' Sheard's "You Don't Know" and Twinkie Clark's "He Lifted Me" while plenty more of good to middling songs from the likes of Shirley Caesar, Donnie McClurkin (a duet with Yolanda Adams), Smokie Norful, Deitrick Haddon, Hezekiah Walker and Fred Hammond. Occasionally the switch from earthy live recordings to slick studio productions jars a little though it's good to see blue-eyed gospellers like Martha Munizzi and Vicki Yohe featured. Yep, another useful compilation.
