2002's album of 'WoW Hits' suffered from the fact that a number of the tracks weren't hits (by "hits" the compilers mean tracks that were big playlist items on American Christian radio) but having learnt from their mistakes this year's item is full of turntable smashes (though confusingly, in view of the title, they were big on US radio in 2002!). There's plenty to enjoy here, Steven Curtis Chapman's pop rock "Magnificent Obsession", Jump5's effervescent teen pop "All I Can Do", Out Of Eden's slinky R&B "Day Like Today", Stacie Orrico's impressive "Security". 30 more tracks ranging from hymnody (Amy Grant) to hip-hop (TobyMac). As usual in the WoW series, this double CD is a good way to catch up on what is going on in the US Christian music scene.
