This best selling series shows no sign of abating and this is one of the best. Featuring over 30 powerful worship songs from some of the best songwriters around, this double CD is jam-packed with some fantastic covers as well as eight brand new recordings. Featuring worship leaders such as Matt Redman, Tim Hughes, Chris Tomlin, Delirious? and many more, this album offers excellent songs with profound and eternal lyrics. Songs include Natalie Grant's cover of "In Christ Alone", Building 429 singing "Famous One", Tree63 overhauling Redman's "Blessed Be Your Name" and Avalon adding classy harmonies to "Indescribable". Another gem is "Yesterday, Today And Forever" from the brilliant new release by Vicki Beeching: this compilation provides something for all. Whilst this album fits more or less under the genre of rock there is a pleasant variation within, ranging from the raw and heavy rock sounding "Agnus Dei" covered by Third Day to the slightly more peaceful and uplifting sound of "El Shaddai" sung of course by Amy Grant. I sincerely doubt that anyone could be disappointed with this purchase.
