These something-for-everyone 2 CD compilations offer, of course, a value for money way of catching up on many of the songs impacting the worshipping Church (well, the American Church). Stacks of great moments, Darlene Zschech's "All Things Are Possible" (though her Hillsongs rendition is better), Darrell Evans' "Trading My Sorrows", David Ruis' "You're Worthy Of My Praise", etc, etc. Brits are represented with tracks from those wonderful Vineyard UK albums 'Hungry' and 'Surrender'. There's also a wedge of golden oldies going right back to Karen Lafferty's "Seek Ye First" classic which really kicked off the whole worship chorus thing when Maranatha! Music released that 'Praise' album back in 1972. Nothing TOO rad, youth culture here of course. But as a reasonable cross section of modernish worship this will do nicely.
