From the stable of WoW Hits, WoW Christmas, WoW Gospel, comes the next in the series of WoW Worship compilations after Blue, Orange and Green. With a total of 33 tracks on two CDs this is overwhelming quality and quantity. With names like Delirious?, Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin and Darlene Zschech it is difficult to see who is actually missing from this Hall Of Fame. There are original and recent tracks like "Here I Am To Worship" by Tim Hughes, as well as covers of older worship tracks like "More Love, More Power". The musicianship really shows resurrection power on songs that have been totally hammered to death over the years and may be creeping into the hymnbook Ancient And Modern. It is surprising that anyone has blown the dust off these older tracks, but even more shocking that these original arrangements helped them get away with it so well. Generally this compilation consists of a collection of the best worship tracks from the best artists you are likely to hear. If you are familiar with CCM it has been spoilt by not-very-new songs. But if you are new to it all, this is a great introduction to contemporary worship.
