This is, as it would suggest, a collection of artists, most of them unknown to us, from all over the US. Once again, the musical styles vary vastly from earnest college rock - which covers the majority of what's on offer here, through reggae (our old friend Stitchie, and Christafari), heavy rock and smooth AOR - except that it's not really that smooth. Few of the performances show many signs of promise, despite what I'm sure are good intentions all round. Of the bands that do merit further investigation, I'd single out Spooky Tuesday whose "Offered Myself" has a pleasant lilt to it, and "Twist Of Faith", sounding not unlike early Pretenders on the excellent "You Kept Me". More from those two please, otherwise.next.
